I co-founded Leaf by Leaf after noticing that children were often told what foods were healthy without being given much ownership over those choices. I developed our hands-on approach around planting, caring for, and ultimately choosing whether to try food they grew themselves.
I designed and led 20+ workshops across schools, youth centers, a rescue mission, a children’s museum, and community events, reaching 600+ people.

I co-wrote and published our original children’s book and developed take-home growing kits to extend the experience beyond each workshop. We have donated many of both.
